It’s a Pleasure is a 2013 black stallion standing 17.1h by Dark Pleasure x Blue Hors Zack x Flemmingh. Thoughtfully bred in the Netherlands by W.L. Plaizier, he placed in the top three as a 3-year-old at the KWPN Stallion Show in s’Hertogenbosch and went on to be licensed in 2016 with a score of 81 points and 8’s and 8.5’s for all values.
As a young stallion in licensing he scored 8’s for his walk, trot, canter, suppleness, and quality as a dressage prospect, and 8.5’s for his rideability and balance for a total of 81.

It’s a Pleasure is an honest and reliable stallion with good temperament. He is very willing to work and has very good trainability. The walk is pure and active with good scope, the trot is light footed with good scope and the hind leg carries well. The canter is uphill and light footed with excellent carriage and balance. He moves with abundant elasticity, good body position and very good balance. He shows abundant talent for dressage and gives his rider a good feeling. It’s a Pleasure can add both size and light footed movement to dressage horse breeding.

Lineage:
It’s a Pleasure’s sire, Dark Pleasure, boasts two top sires in his bloodlines: the Grand Prix stallions Jazz and Ferro. The stallion Ufo is by Metall, who also produced the Olympic horse Uthopia, ridden by Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin. Blue Hors Zack is the third consecutive son of the keur stallion Rousseau (s.Ferro) to capture the KWPN stallion selection championship. He was sold to Denmark for top Euro and is establishing a breeding-line in that country. Blue Hors Zack is currently one of Denmark’s most successful breeding stallions. His son Golden Gate is a KWPN-approved stallion.
It’s a Pleasure’s dam Dozette scored 8.5’s in her IBOP test for rideability and trainability, and 8’s for carriage/balance and talent. Her dam Wozette produced a Z-level horse by Santano. Wozette is a daughter of the preferent sire Flemmingh, who has greatly benefited Dutch dressage horse breeding through offspring including six KWPN-approved sons and eighteen KWPN-approved grandsons. Rozette is the dam of a Z2-level dressage horse by Johnson and a ZZ-light dressage horse by Future.

It’s a Pleasure is a well-developed stallion with good rectangular-shaped conformation. The head is sufficiently attractive. The poll has sufficient length with a correct head-neck connection. The neck has good length, more than sufficient muscling and comes out slightly deep from the chest. The wither is well developed and has good length. The shoulder has good length and placement. The back has good length and muscling. The loins have good muscling and are well connected. The croup has good placement, length and muscling. There is good length from the point of the hip to the point of the buttock.
